The Spark Retreat
is a coming together of friendship and community to ignite our inner wellspring of creative energy, our joy, and our truth. The Spark Retreat is about reconnecting to the spiritual fire, to who we truly are. It’s about reconnecting to the creative aliveness that flows within us and from us. When we spark this inner fire, we bring radiance to everyone we are in contact with and all that we do.
This retreat will move you deep in your body between yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic-inspired meals, and the natural world. We will connect to our energy through breathwork and the ocean breeze. We will calm the mind through mantra, coaching tools, and lounging in hammocks. We will tap into our intuition through writing, dancing, and ceremony.
Together, in this sacred place we will rest, learn, relax, have fun, and move to a place where we remember the truth that all is well, that we are well, and that we have the power to create and live our most magnificent lives.

Tepoztlán, Morelos, mexico
Located in the state of Morelos, Tepoztlán is considered by many to be the spiritual epicenter of Mexico. It is the birthplace of Quetzalcoatl — feathered serpent in Nahuatl — an Aztec god with many associations, from literature and culture to wisdom and learning. Quetzalcoatl also symbolizes the union between earth and sky and the endless life cycles — this oneness we are attuning to reach through yoga.
La buena vibra
Nestled in the Atongo Valley Tepoztlán, Morelos, Mexico, La Buena Vibra is a resort and spa with a spiritual-wellness vibe. It dubs itself a “mystical, magical, paradise.” With a full spa on site, a yoga room, rooms to write, a few pools, and a view of lush, green mountains, it’s a place to dive deep and replenish.
We’ll be ensconced in the retreat section of the hotel, the Pueblito de Paz, close to the yoga room, a pool, and enveloped in healing energy emanating from the Stupa of Peace.
From La Buena Vibra: “The stupa is one of the oldest and most powerful representations of the Buddha . It was built to commemorate the most significant moments of his life, mark the sacred places where these events occurred, and house his relics, as well as those of his most spiritually advanced disciples.
Thanks to the positive energy emanating from these sacred structures, stupas are recognized for their ability to protect and transform negative energy, creating an environment of peace, serenity, and well-being.
The Stupa of Enlightenment is a Buddhist monument of great spiritual significance, dedicated to The Good Vibes by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and consecrated by the venerable Geshe Sherab, spiritual director of Drepung Loseling Mexico.”
In Mexico, we’ll experience many forms of yoga from asana to kirtan, meditation (dharana and dhyana), breath work (pranayama), and writing, while transforming, opening, and awakening in the Valley of the Gods.

sedona, Arizona, USA
Sedona and its environs are spiritual epicenters—beautiful, high-vibrational, sacred, energy-shifting places in the US surrounded by sculptural red rocks and lush, high-desert landscapes.
Ancient Springs Retreat Center
Located just outside of Sedona in the verdant Verde Valley, the Ancient Springs Retreat Center sits on six acres surrounded by tall cottonwood and sycamore trees. It has its own artesian spring, ponds, and many paths where you can walk and wander.
The land is a sacred, soulful place. Ancient Springs is home to Indios Huichol, a nonprofit that serves tribal and local communities. (On site, a store sells beadwork, jewelry, embroidered and woven bags, and art from the Wixarika tribal people, and all of the profits go directly to support four Wixarika communities and their Elders.)
Sit with your feet in the stream, gaze at the brilliant night sky, stretch, sing, write, hike, experience the energetic vortexes, and move your energy to higher frequencies.
